Darby's is eclectic. The menu, the vibe inside, all of it. The chicken schnitzel with mashes potatoes is pretty tasty. Their apps are all good. Strong martinis. Check out their menu online and then go check them out . They're just a good place to eat in Belfast.

Came in today during happy hour. Had the eggrolls as an app. So good! I had the fish and chips. The fries were excellent, and the fish was perfectly cooked. It was a generous portion of both. The coleslaw was just okay. The services was great, and or waiter was friendly. Will definitely be coming back.
Clam chowder was excellent! Had amazing flavor! Service was great! Very nice and intimate place for 3 on a Saturday! Wish egg rolls we're in 4s had 2 big ones. They were excellent but would have liked 4 small ones.
I love Darby's. I recently met with an old friend from High School for lunch at Darby's. They were very accommodating, allowing us a good part of the afternoon to visit while we ate. The food was excellent and the wait staff were attentive but allowed us our privacy. The waitress even snapped a few pictures of us together at my request. The menu here is interesting, the food is very good and the building is historic and very well maintained. The staff is very nice and very good at what they do. I would recommend this to anyone, especially someone visiting Maine.
And the desserts are good enough I never even look at the list, I can never choose just one
