I've only used Western medicine in the past, but I tried acupuncture to treat my chronic pain following surgery for cancer. A friend recommended Oriental Health Solutions and I decided that the worst that could happen was, well, nothing -- that my pain would persist. Fang Cai really helped with my pain, and she also explained to me the science behind what she was doing. I really felt that I understood what she was doing with her needles and why. Great acupuncturist.
That is what I call Fang. I think she can walk on water. Seriously though, you will see after one treatment...she works miracles!
As someone with a needle phobia, I was reluctant to try acupuncture, but Fang Cai at Oriental Health Solutions (now in Hawaii) led me gently through the process and provided excellent care. She acknowledged my fears and helped me overcome them. The process was painless and--for having overcome my fears to do something good for my body--empowering. Fang has treated me for a sinus infection, muscle spasms, and helped ease me into labor when my baby was two weeks overdue (I was able to avoid induction for an amazing natural birth!). Her treatments have always been effective, and she is a wonderful practitioner who offers not only acupuncture but also sound nutritional advice and emotional support.
